Comedian Shane Gillis Welcomed Back to SNL Days After Bud Light Deal!

Shane Gillis was fired after a microscopic stint at Saturday Night Live in 2019. Seemingly out of nowhere, he was announced to be hosting SNL later this month after spending the convening 5 years becoming a bigger start than he ever could have been had he not been cancelled. What caused this sudden change of heart?

A few days prior to the announcement, Gillis has become the newest beneficiary of Anheuser-Busch's attempt to win back the working class. Bud Light and the comedian entered a partnership, 10 months on from the disastrous Dylan Mulvaney endorsement, in an attempt to let bygones be bygones.
