Introduction:

Packed with protein and wholesome ingredients, these bars are not only delicious but also nutritious. Whether you need a post-workout snack or a midday treat, these bars will satisfy your cravings and keep you energized. 💪🏼
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup almond butter
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup milk (any kind)
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Prepare Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and milk. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, or until melted. Stir until smooth.
Add Flavoring:
Stir in peppermint extract into the wet mixture until well incorporated. Adjust the amount according to your desired level of mint flavor.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl. Stir until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated and a thick, sticky dough forms.
Add Chocolate Chips (Optional):
If using dark chocolate chips, fold them into the dough until evenly distributed. This will add extra chocolatey goodness to the bars.
Press Into Pan:
Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Transfer the dough into the pan and press it down firmly and evenly using a spatula or your hands.
Chill and Set:
Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the bars to firm up and set.
Slice Into Bars:
Once chilled, remove the pan from the refrigerator and lift the parchment paper to remove the block of bars. Place it on a cutting board and slice into bars of your desired size.
Serve or Store:
Serve the Chocolate Mint Protein Bars immediately, or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
