Stolen Colorado State Patrol Vehicle Ends in Fatal Crash

Colorado State Patrol Chases and is able to stop a DWI suspect and while they are processing the scene, the place the intoxicated driver in handcuffs and put him in the back seat of an "Interceptor" type vehicle with the motor running for AC. While everyone else is still processing the scene, the very slim, intoxicated young man, slides out of the back seat and crawls into the front seat and takes off in the patrol car. He drives at high speeds (at one time you can hear the radio say they clocked him at 115 MPH. He avoids several tack strips before finally hitting one, losing control of the police car and slams head on into the side of an 18 wheeler's trailer bed, who was stopped. He is seriously injured and eventually dies from his injuries.
