Some Special Benefits of Fajr Prayer .
Reward for performing Fajr prayer
The special importance of Fajr is in prayer as well as in timing. At the beginning of Surah Fajr in the Qur'an, Allah Almighty says, the oath is of Fajr. (Surah Fajr, Verse: 1)
Let's know some benefits of Fajr prayer
1. Rasulullah (s.a.w.) said, 'Whoever prays Isha with the congregation, it is as if he had prayed Nafl until half the night. And whoever prayed Fajr with the congregation, it is as if he prayed the whole night awake.' (Muslim, Hadith: 1377)
2. Rasulullah (SAW) said, "The two rak'ats of Fajr prayer are better than the world and everything in it." (Muslim, Hadith: 1573)
3. Rasulullah (s.a.w.) said, “Whoever performs Fajr prayer, he is included in the protection of Allah Almighty.” (Muslim, Hadith: 1379)
4. Rasulullah (SAW) also said, 'That person will not go to Hell, who prays before sunrise and before sunset i.e. Fajr and Asr.' (Muslim, Hadith: 1322)
5. Rasul (PBUH) said, 'There is no prayer more difficult for the hypocrites than Fajr and Isha. If they had known the virtues of these two prayers, they would have attended even if they were crawling. (Bukhari, Hadith: 657)
6. A hadith is known about Caliph Hazrat Umar Ibn Khattab (RA). Rasulullah (SAW) sent an army on an expedition towards Najd. They quickly returned after acquiring a lot of mathematical resources. One who did not go with them said, "We have never seen any army come back faster than them with so much good booty in a short time." Then Rasulullah (SAW) said, 'Shall I not tell you about a group who return faster than these with better booty? Those who attend the Fajr prayer, sit (at the end of the prayer) till sunrise and recite the dhikr of Allah Ta'ala, those are the ones who return in a short time with good booty.' (Sunan Tirmidhi: 3641)
7. Companion Anas (RA) reported that Rasulullah (SAW) said, “Give good news of the full light of the Day of Resurrection to those who travel to the mosques in the darkness of the night.” (Ibn Majah, Hadith: 781)
8. Angels take turns at dawn. And at this time, whatever the servant does, the angels present it to Allah. In a hadith, the Messenger of God (PBUH) explained the matter beautifully and said, 'The angels come among you by turns; Some during the day, some at night. Both groups come together for Asr and Fajr prayers. Then the group that spends the night among you rises. Then their Lord asked them, in what condition to leave my servants? But he is most aware of them. In reply they said, 'We left them in prayer and when we went to them they were still praying.' (Bukhari, Hadith: 555)
9. Jabir Bin Abdullah (R.A.) narrates, 'Once we were present to the Prophet (S.A.W.). He looked at the moon at night (full moon) and said, "Just as you see that moon, you will soon see your Lord."
10. The Prophet (PBUH) said, 'When one of you falls asleep, Satan ties three knots behind his neck. At each knot he presses, You have a long night ahead of you, so lie down. Then if he wakes up and remembers Allah then one knot is untied, when he performs ablution another knot is untied, then when he prays another knot is untied. Then his morning dawned with a cheerful mind and a restless heart. If not, he gets up in the morning with dirty ink and laziness.' (Bukhari, Hadith: 1142)
