💥 CHINA: A powerful shallow EARTHQUAKE MAGNITUDE 6.8 occurred in SICHUAN province.
In Luding County, the earthquake was so strong that people had difficulty even standing on their feet. Unfortunately, more than 80 people diеd, dozens of people were missing and suffered.
MORE than 250 buildings were completely destroyed and more than 1,000 homes were damaged.
Numerous landslides damaged roads and highways. Several hydroelectric power stations were damaged.
In the disaster area actively conducted rescue work.

💦 MOLDOVA, CHICHINA: Heavy rain turned the streets of Moldova's capital into rivers. Streams of water were so strong that they knocked pedestrians off their feet. And on some stretches of road people literally swam out of flooded cars.

💦 BULGARIA: Heavy rains led to rising river levels and flooding in many parts of the country. The height of the flood waters reached three meters in some places. People had to flee on rooftops.
Unfortunately, there were fatalities. Dozens of residents were evacuated. People were rescued from the blocked village of Bogdan by helicopters.
HOUSES, BRIDGES AND RAILROAD TRACKS WERE DESTROYED AND FLOODED.

💦 GREECE, SALONIKI: Heavy precipitation hit northern Greece - in just a few hours, the streets turned into a raging torrent.

The devastating heat wave that struck Europe, Africa, and Asia has reached the Americas.

western United States plunged into a historically severe September heat wave.
As of August 30, drought conditions in the U.S. covered 64% of the area, with 15% of these being extreme and exceptional drought types.

🔥 These conditions, with ever-increasing wind gusts, are responsible for an unprecedented increase in fires.
As of August 30, more than 48,000 fires have already burned a total of nearly 3 million hectares of land.

💨 USA, STATE OF ARIZONA: Dry ground combined with strong winds caused a massive sandstorm. More than 7,000 homes were left without power.

🔥 KAZAKHSTAN, Kostanai Oblast: An emergency situation has been declared - in just a few hours the area of fires has tripled. The fire covered more than 43,000 hectares, which is almost half of the republic's forest fund. Residents of several settlements had to be urgently evacuated.
Unfortunately, there were fatalities and casualties.

Climatic changes are progressing with each passing day. The number of deaths and injuries is increasing. Many areas are becoming uninhabitable.
Millions of people are already refugees because of extreme climatic conditions. And it is clear that the topic of climate must become top of the agenda in our society.
