Officers notice signs of impairment and request to conduct field sobriety exercises. Driver agrees to participate, but stomps on officer's foot out of anger that she is being hand-cuffed. Officers then place driver under arrest for battery and driver is taken to police station. Driver refuses to take breathalyzer test at police station. Driver is transported to county jail for processing.

Driver was charged with
1. Battery on an officer
2. DUI
3. Failure to obey lawful order
4. Resisting officer without violence

Driver plead not guilty to all charges and hired a lawyer.

A motion to withdraw all counts was granted by the state on 1/31/24 as part of an agreement that driver was placed on a probation that , "ordered to possess no drugs, alcohol, or non-prescribed medications and is still subject to random testing at her expense."

A trial date is set for 3/11/24 to follow up that program was successfully completed.
