The United States has one of the highest costs of healthcare in the world: as much as $4.3 trillion per year. A staggering 93% of Medicare claims are for chronic disease. Meanwhile, a medical cartel comprised of regulatory agencies, pharmaceutical and insurance companies, and hedge-fund-owned hospitals are making a killing. The sicker we get, the richer they get.
