Fujitsu DOWNPLAY Horizon Audit Concerns to Post Office

Fujitsu DOWNPLAY grave Horizon Audit and Integrity Concerns to the Post Office over a year after first discovering the issue.

Evidence shown to the Post Office Inquiry shows that internal emails and presentations appear to be becoming more concerned and strongly worded as time goes on but the communication to the Post Office highlights that a review of 2007/08 data is required following identification of a single issue and a single branch at the end of 2007 which results in an erroneous shortfall in the Horizon system.

They are also assured that a fix for this issue was deployed approximately a year after it was discovered in November 2008.
