Movement planes and axis of rotation
In this video, we will be covering the different planes of motion and axis of rotation. 3 main types of motion include: frontal (coronal), sagittal, and transverse planes.
Axis of rotation describes the kinematic relationship between the plane a movement takes place. Typically, the movement is perpendicular to the plane.
We can apply this to the right-hand-rule in electric fields. If we point the thumb towards ourselves with the fingers curling counterclockwise, this can be applied to sagittal plane movements with a frontal plane axis of rotation.
