Budtenders. Idk if they're the same in every state, but given that the companies are interstate multi state companies pushing a billion dollar revenues annually like VERANO and Trulieve, id venture to say the hiring practices are the same across the board. Moreover the lack of Hiring practices, the lack of ensuring the budtenders behind the counter actually has the ability to appropriately help the patient at their counter with whatever their medicinal therapeutic need may be.
We can't just imply the medicinally therapeutic implications of cannabis from anecdotal experiences of the recreational market specifically developed for psychoactively intense purposes with little to no focus on medicinal therapeutic viability and presume those with that knowledge hold the keys. This market is a direct result of nothing more than excessive THC Amplification which is not a statement that can be logically argued because the illicit market is such by its illicit nature. The recreational Illicit producers sought to maximize density aka weight using indica but besides that trait the entirety of our hybrid lean is to the sativa side or at very least more heavily sativa oriented. When you pair that with the FACT that Myrcene occurs 59% of the time in cannabis as dominant and the fact the market was hybridizing, the chance for excessive Myrcene increased. This meant more psychoactively intense strains, and even less focus on therapeutic aspects because may of the therapeutic attributes were being over ridden by the psychoactivity of THC proliferated by excessive Myrcene. For example, in a sativa the anxiolytic / anti anxiety benefits of terpinolene are overpowered by myrcenes THC proliferation and heightened CB1 receptor activity. In an Indica heightened Myrcene leads to the lessened sedative nature of indica within a certain range over the level of beta Caryophyllene present.
These are all important things for a Budtender to have a grasp on, and to be absolutely honest this small discussion is the basic top soil layer of information regarding Terpenes and the synergistic interplay between Terpenes and cannabinoids that through the endo can avoid system prodicesna multitude of therapeutic effects that venture far beyond the sedative, relaxing, and pain relieving analgesic benefits of heightened THC levels or heightened THC absorption through Myrcene being increased.
This may all seem very unrelated to the novice or someone unfamiliar with the entirety of this business both ore and post state wide legalization. But it is indeed a fact that budtenders are not hired for their knowledge of the products which they will be helping people choose for therapeutic purposes, they're hired rather as a glorified point of sales representative. If they have cannabis knowledge that's just an added benefit.
A Budtender should be able to, or be open to learning at the very least, how to help a customer look over a profile, and decide which combination of compounds is right for their disorder. Not everyone entering is coming in for the hardest hitting THC experience they can find, and that doesn't mean just the people looking for low THC or CBD either. I'm talking about truely understanding the cannabis, knowing what benefits Terpenes have, how that changes when another is added. How that again changes when yet another is increased.
And it is true, we don't have all of the knowledge we need yet, but we would be striving towards a TRUELY medicinal Marketplace, and a TRUELY free capitalist open Market place for entrepreneurs on the recreational market. This would mean there would be a REAL Medicinal Market and a REAL recreatiknal market. Not million dollar.companies claiming to be operating a "dual market" like here in Maryland, taking the market created in the backs of persecuted people for 6 decades, then pulling from thin air the non existent legal market place and allow millionaires with daddies money (Mackie Barch owner of culta as one example) to claim that marketplace the state has backed the federal government on for decades is now their medicinal marketplace, even though the only medicinal value proven is monopolized by the FDA via the 2019 Farm bill which allows farmers to grow the hemp the FDA needs to produce the only pharmaceutical directly derived from cannabis on backs of farmers. There has been no real attempt besides from illicit entrepreneurs to produce a medicinal product from cannabis. WHY?
why did the FDA only need a 500 person trial to create a pharmaceutical out of a schedule 1 supposedly non therapeutic dangerous substance, in particular a pharmaceutical to quell seizure activity in children. Does it not seem a bit suspicious it took one trial, conducted at the same facility where for 2 decades researchers were impressed from getting data because the FDA subcontracted to have sub par cannabis intentionally grown at the university of Mississippi. There's a pop culture reference to this in Half Baked when Dave Chappelles Character steaks the herb from his janitors job. It is also a pun on G13 cannabis, also related to Ol Miss. I'm growing some G13 right now, stay tuned to the chanel .

Don't forget to keep on the daily content, Facebook is a joke and doesn't allow cannabis Truth to be spoken, so see me on my locals. . . .all free and if there is a locked piece of content it is only because I have to make something somehow and it's always only $1. But that at least let's ppl know I'm not out for the money, but to keep doing what I do, and putting hours into the development of Evolutionarily ADAPTIVE Terpological Discernment and Assignment (DNA) protocol, without monetization which Facebook took from me, I'm dependent on followers and supporters only cannabis legalization, true legalization.

So if you support open cannabis marketplace where you can start a weed endeavor the same way you start a bath bombs sales endeavor or tomatoe sales or corn sales, if you believe this ..... Follow and support the cause ...... Bc this isn't true legalization, this is monopolization and people aren't willing to speak up for fear of cancellation from the Left. White men are racist misogynists if they speak up and stand up for those disproportionately effected persons in Western Maryland, like myself, and black people honestly would be silly to speak against something helping them, or at least they're, people are made to believe this "social equity " is a help. It is not.

Social Equity is cutting off the legs of historically successfully people even if they aren't successfully now bc they look like the people who were successful, and using those legs to make a stool and maneuvering aids for the persons seen as those needing equity, like the disproportionately effected, even though they are 12% of the population that commits offer 50% of violent crimes in the US. Then look at the over 63% of 86 entrepreneurial liscences allotted to the 3 most violent areas in Maryland, Baltimore county, Baltimore City and Prince George's County. Then look to Charles county with a 55% black population 1 : 1000 violent crime rate with 1 LISCENCE allotted, the same as ALLEGANY County with less 5% black population & higher crime rate especially for the area, it met the 150% stipulation, yet 1 LISCENCE. It isn't equally or evenly applied not even close.

Support real cannabis change and legalization. . . . Idk what that is exactly but I know it isn't what Maryland has turned into cookie cutter legislation for the United States back 1000% by leftist CRT and LGBTQ diversity and inclusion initiatives.
