Among other things, people love to show off with their pets. They are treated as stars, as cute toy creatures that give one joy, or even ugly, but ridiculously funny pets. Pets are, and this is a fact, one of top-5 keyword searches on the Internet.

However, the Internet was first conquered by cats: a lazy cat, an angry cat, a cross-eyed cat, a brave cat (Remember the hero cat who saved the little boy from a dog attack? Of course, we all do!) these were on the all-star list of Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. Photos, videos, memes, gif’s, whatever you could possibly imagine to sharer online was instantly gaining immense popularity! Entire audiences of admirers and subscribers started to gather and expanded. And how did our dogs leg behind in this pet-craze? They actually did not! Dogs confidently began to catch up with the mustachioed mousers. And not only catch up, they even started overshadowing their popularity. Go, go dogs!

People say that, over time, dogs start to resemble their owners, both in looks and in behavior. Whether it’s the animals that start imitating their humans, or the humans start to identify themselves with their dogs, it doesn’t matter, there are hundreds of photos online where dog owners look almost exactly like their dogs! This is why we decided to show you a touching video of a dog that mourns like a human being.

Losing someone close can take quite a toll on a person. It’s really hard to accept the fact that they are gone and all you are left with is their memory and all of the things you’ve ever done together. It means that you have to adapt to a new life without them and somehow start your life anew in a slightly different direction. Life would be a tiny bit more grey without them in it, but it carries on and so must we.

If you don’t know about Max and Katie, you’re about to find out. They are two extremely lovable Great Danes who were adopted. They are twins and extremely gentle creatures despite their size. They are both eight years old with Max being white and Katie black. Unfortunately, Katie was diagnosed with cancer. The tumor caused her paw to swell so much and become difficult to walk. There was nothing her parents could do for this girl and the only option was to put her to sleep.

Max the Great Dane still doesn't understand where his sister Katie has gone. Watch as Max tours the house and grounds looking for his sister and his Dad. Max can definitely pick up the scent of Katie and goes searching around the property and throughout the house following Katie's scent. This is our longest video and is followed by part two, where Max joyfully runs to greet Dad as he pulls into the driveway.

If you love dogs as much as we do, share this video on social media or tell us a story of your beloved four-legged pal in the comment section below. And remember: dogs rule!
