Over the past decade or so, there has been an explosion of teachers being caught having inappropriate relationships with their students. Particularly young, female teachers and even younger male students. People don't want to talk about it seriously because you have Boomers dismissing the crime as "lucky boys" or "where were those teachers when I was growing up," and the general lack of accountability society enforces towards women.

It's a growing crime with little recourse in sight. Look at their penalties when they do get caught, compared to their male contemporaries. It's sick and needs to be highlighted.
