Jonathon Candy allegedly grabbed a gun after a heated fight with his wife and began systematically trying to kill everyone in the home. Ida Ann Lorenzo was in a crowded Utah restaurant earlier this month when police say she thought a person’s skirt was too short, so she pulled down on it. Lorenzo believed the girl was nude under the skirt and was exposing herself. The victim says that’s not true. Video of the confrontation between the 19-year-old and Lorenzo has since gone viral. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber discusses the situation and the consequences with trial attorney Brian Claypool.

A New York District Attorney is under fire after she allegedly refused to stop for a Webster police officer when she was caught speeding 20 mph over the speed limit on April 22. Authorities said Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley continued to drive to her home after an officer put on his emergency lights. While driving home, Doorley tried calling the police chief and asking him to stop his officer from pulling her over. When the officer confronted Doorley, she used her job title as a reason for not stopping. Doorley berated the officer when he handed her a ticket and told him she would “take care of this” since she’d be prosecuting it herself.
