State Supremes Enforce Civil War Abortion Ban

Dr. Chaps reports that a nearly two-year legal battle over abortion in Arizona ended on April 9 with the state Supreme Court’s ruling that a pre-statehood ban on most abortions is legally enforceable in the state. The 1864 law bans all abortions in Arizona, except those performed to save the life of the mother.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, an athletics association for small colleges and universities in North America, has adopted a policy of only allowing athletes who were born female to participate in women's sports.
