US president Joe Biden has broken his silence on the ongoing pro-Palestine protests in colleges across the country. The president has said that while peaceful protests are protected in America, trespassing and destroying public property does not count as peaceful protests. Biden's comments came amid Republican outrage against the pro-Palestine protest encampments in top colleges. Earlier in the day, police officers in Los Angeles raided the University of California and arrested dozens of protesting students. Biden called these protests a test of two American values - the right to free speech and law & order. Palki Sharma tells you how these protests will shape the US elections.
