“Recently the USDA came out with a law stating that all cattle and bison in the United States have to have EID tags. We have six months to comply with this new law. What is an EID tag? It's an electronic identification tag.

That tag stores all the information about our cattle. It has vaccination schedules. It has feed schedules. It has medical history. Now, while that sounds really good on paper, there's a part of me that believes this is for a greater purpose:

Most people are processing their livestock through federal or state-inspected facilities.

Part of me believes that in the future with these tags they're going to be able to see everything that you've done with that cow and if you don't do what they want will they let you process.”
