How To Fish The Jetty :D! Dana Point, CA

In this video, I go fishing with my friend Danny. We fished the jetty over at Dana Point CA, caught a lot of cool fish, and I also give a bit of fishing tips and tricks here and there c: I wanted to make a new video that was the same style as my videos, but also a good way to introduce myself to new viewers. I think it was pretty good at least haha. I fished with shrimp, long rods, tiny rods, random baits, lots of fun. Jetty fishing and bait testing, a great way to spend the day :D We caught a lot of black perch and opaleyes, the black perch was interesting because there's a lot of variation between them. Opaleyes are neat as always, with their bright blue eyes. We weren't targeting anything big, just a quick fun hang out session. I was expecting the nightcrawler to not work, but I really thought the whiskey flavor from the alien beef jerky would work. I can always try them out some other time c: One thing I forgot to mention more in this video is about safety. #Safety should be your number 1 priority, when fishing always #observeyoursurroundings and be #alert. Wear durable clothing and good traction footwear.

Also, if there are any 9gagers that found their way here, hi :D leave a comment below c:

#firstfishfreedom is a tradition that I started a while back. The basis for this tradition is to release the first fish you catch, regardless of what it is (prized, PB, good eats, maybe even world record someday haha). I will only keep the first fish if it is gravely wounded or gut shotted (and a species I can legally keep). If I keep the first fish, then I will pass on the tradition to the second fish, and so forth. Any day of fishing is a blessing, catching a fish and beating the skunk is another blessing on top of that, so I want to return that blessing and luck back to the fish, so they may live another day, get bigger, and maybe I catch them again in the future c:
