Teen Girl's Pool Prank Fails When She Gets Pulled In As Well

There is something about a warm sunny day, a swimming pool, being a teenager and the inescapable desire to shove someone into said swimming pool. Most summertime pranks involve getting someone soaking wet either from a hose, a water balloon, super soaker or the classic pool. Impressively, this particular video uses two methods of soaking someone, the hose and the pool. I do not know what it is about swimming pools that just makes you want to push another person into them. Well, I have a few theories of course.

One of my theories, is that the splash is satisfying. It is like when you throw a big stone into a rock or pond. The ripples are fun. But the real joy comes the splash. The eruption of water as it shoots into the air following the sinking object. The way the water changes and becomes disrupted after something is dropped in it. There is also kind of a zen feeling of joy that comes over you as you watch the water settle back down. Of course, that is short lived because you almost immediately want to make another huge splash again.

Anyway, this video hits on a number of levels. On one hand, it is a pretty decent push someone in the pool prank. On the other hand, I always enjoy seeing pranks out right fail. I’m not sure what the goal of spraying the other girl with the hose was. It almost ruins the element of surprise. If the pranker had gone with just a straight sneak attack push, she might have stayed out of the pool. Or maybe she thought the hose would surprise the other girl enough that she would jump into the pool on accident. Questions to ponder.
