Today's show is geared towards anyone who has ever played youth sports, been a parent of a child in youth sports, coached or umped. Travis Snider and Seth Taylor founded 3A Athletics, Bringing Awareness to parents, coaches, and athletes of the changes that need to be made in the culture of Youth Athletics. Activating the true potential of a young athlete by changing the culture through addressing and nurturing the mental approach of the athlete, of the parents, and of the coaches. A changed culture that helps the athlete Achieve their true potential, not only in athletics, but in life.

Co-founded by Travis Snider, longtime MLB outfielder with Toronto, Pittsburgh and Baltimore and Seth Taylor, who is a therapeutic life coach working with MLB and MLS players, as well as high level CEO’s, parents and players in youth sports.

Throughout Snider's 16 year professional career, he struggled immensely with anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, self-sabotage, and various other physical challenges that affected his ability to reach his “potential”. Snider tells me he didn’t realize until working with Seth that a lot of these issues stemmed from experiences in his childhood that he carried with him through his career.

Travis and Seth have worked together since 2021 in Snider's own therapeutic process and discovered he had written these books for parents and coaches in youth soccer. The two decided to buy out their former partner and build this business around the already existing products for multiple sports.

Snider became passionate about this experience kids are having in youth sports after unpacking his own childhood experiences in sports and life that were still positively and negatively effecting his sense of identity and self-worth. Snider has 3 children (7, 5, 3) who are entering the world of youth sports and his golad is for them to have a healthier experience.

3A will develop the content and curriculum the athletes, parents, instructors and coaches can use to build the foundation upon which they build their lives.
