Only Children vs Children w/Siblings (Quick Thoughts via Armstrong and Getty)

I just wanted to clip this and hang it here. As an only child, and a son to a mother who, as a “for instance,” was on an acid trip wandering through downtown Detroit in 1974 with me [4-years old] in her arms... she put me down and told me not to lose her... as well as being unfaithful to every man she married – even my father whom she married and divorced twice – meaning: I was not given much to emulate during my formative years. And it reverberates through my life to this day. Only by the grace of God do I have a wife [the oldest of three] who is steadfast and part of a family that at least showed the basics on getting through life well. She has been a rock in my life. And her parents have been more of a “mother/father” figure in my life than anything my parents had to offer.

All that being said, I hope this short lip can resonate with a few people who come across it.
