MATTHEW - Chapter 28 Summary:

Matthew 28 contains the account of Jesus' resurrection and his final instructions to his disciples. One key lesson from this chapter is the victory of Christ over sin and death. The resurrection of Jesus demonstrates his power over death and validates his claims to be the Son of God. This teaches us about the hope we have in Christ and the assurance of eternal life for all who believe in him.

Another lesson is about the Great Commission. Jesus commands his disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything he has commanded. This teaches us about the mission of the church to spread the good news of salvation to all people and to make disciples who will follow Jesus.

Furthermore, Matthew 28 teaches about the presence and authority of Jesus. Jesus assures his disciples that he will be with them always, to the very end of the age. This teaches us about the abiding presence of Christ in our lives and the authority he has given us to carry out his mission.

Overall, Matthew 28 teaches us about the victory of Christ, the mission of the church, and the presence and authority of Jesus in our lives.
