How to Use The Delhi Metro From The Airport- Cheap & Easy Way To Get Around - New Delhi India 2024

New Delhi seemed very intimidating when I was planning on traveling there. I looked at different ways to get around and decided I would try to use the metro.

Upon arriving at the airport I had to figure out where the metro was located and how to buy tickets.

Signage is easy to follow and it took a little bit to figure out how to buy tickets. I found where to buy a rechargeable metro card.

In this video I show you what to expect and how to get started. I also show the trains and how to transfer between lines.

The system is very easy. It is also clean and modern. The metro services all of the major sites and areas of the city and a great option if you don’t want to ride in taxis or tuktuks the whole time.
