Here we read of Amaziah, King of Judah, who followed God… until one day he didn’t. God had just given him victory of the Edomites, and he brought their idols back and burned incense to them. A prophet came to him to tell him of his pending demise; which occurred as predicted. Then his son Uzziah became famous for his battle armaments, as he followed God… until one day he didn’t. He went in to the temple to burn incense to the Lord despite the priests demanding he leave. He refused, and received a horrible disease instantly. Then his son reigned in his place. He was a righteous man. Read along to see the successes God gave this righteous king who followed him.
