More than 15 warships and motorboats of the Pacific Fleet undergo drills on combating uncrewed surface vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In the course of the drills, the ships performed a number of combat training exercises on detecting, identifying, and eliminating targets imitating small-size surface and aerial objects.

At the initial stage of the exercise, upon leaving the base, the ships' personnel practised visual camouflaging of departure from the pier using smoke screens.

Then, in the designated areas, the servicemen of the Pacific Fleet practised a set of actions on distributing targets, after which they destroyed all small-size surface and aerial targets of the mock enemy. In the course of the drills, the servicemen deployed Kord and DshK high-calibre machine guns, as well as AK-630 and AK-630M anti-air systems.

The corvettes Sovershenniy, Gromkiy, Rezkiy, destoyer Admiral Panteleyev, large landing ships, small destroyers, сoastal minesweepers, and missile ships took part in the drills. Experimental unmanned aerial vehicles of the Pacific Fleet Naval Aviation imitated the mock enemy UAVs, which are capable of taking off and landing on helicopter landing decks of ships.

The exercise was carried out in accordance with the Pacific Fleet's combat training plan as part of an interdepartmental exercise on protection and defence of bases and maritime communications. Source 🔹Russian Defence Ministry
