God Showed Me A Mystery About My Adopted Child

IN THIS VIDEO: I live in the state of Maryland in the USA. I lost 4 babies in 18 months before age 29.

Two were miscarried and two were ectopic. Unable to conceive, I decided to adopt children with Down syndrome. After adopting a 13-year-old girl named Lisa from New Mexico, I desperately wanted to experience a baby.

The choices for adoption in America were not satisfactory to me, so I sought to adopt from Hong Kong. I was sent a dozen profiles with boys and girls of various ages. By process of elimination based on age and health, I chose a 2-year-old Chinese girl named Man. I read in her profile how heart-wrenching it was for her birth mother to give her up for adoption.

By the time she came to us in August 2002, she was 3 years old. She could barely walk, was still in diapers, and could not talk yet. She was as close to a baby as I would ever get.
