Ah, to be young and able to do multiple flips, or cartwheels, or anything like that in a row. I might just be lazy though. Who really knows. I bet I could do five cartwheels in a row if I put my mind to it. Maybe I’ll pass on doing it in my swimsuit though. Clearly you never know what is going to happen when you put the swimsuits to the test. These girls learned that fact the very, very hard way. Or maybe they didn’t who knows. I’m feeling relative today.

Let’s not talk about cartwheels anymore. Instead, we are going to briefly talk about baseball for the 2018 season. Fun fact: Did you know that the New York Yankees have not won a World Series championship under a Republican president since Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1958. Since President Eisenhower the Yankees have won championships under every Democratic President except for Lyndon B. Johnson! Crazy right? Yep, they won championships under John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Since 1903, when the Yankees were founded as the Baltimore Yankees, the only other Democrat who did not see a Yankees championship was Woodrow Wilson.

Another fun fact for you. The other New York team, the Mets, have only won World Series under Republican presidents. They also only have two World Series championships. Those ones came under Richard Nixon in 1969 and Ronald Reagan in 1986. For a while the Mets held the record for fastest team to win a World Series at seven years between their founding and their winning. However, currently, the Arizona Diamondbacks hold that record as they won their first Series in 2001 just four years after they started playing.
