Dog sees hidden camera , she deals with it in her own way

Poncho ,Brent’s rescue dog from Riviera Maya Mexico is quite the pooch. She is an extremely lovable pet to mention the least. Brent and his family were in Mexico some 11 years ago, when his young children at the time, stumbled across two little puppies abandoned at the side of a dirt path. Since it was Christmas time, and his children were away from their friends at a very festive time suffering it out in the sunny Riviera Maya, Brent of course allowed his kids to keep the puppies. After some paperwork and a veterinary checkup, the new additions to the family was happening. Poncho is believed to be a Basenji mix. A few reasons which Brent figures this are her traits. Basenji’s although are not a barking dog, they more so yodel, Poncho has the hair pattern but does bark. Poncho does have “cat like “ traits as do Basenji’s. She loves straddling the arm of the couch, and also lays across the back of the couch, like a cat. Poncho also can jump high, to make her way over a six foot fence, and climb, higher than Brent prefers. Poncho makes him work at keeping her in the yard safe. Years have passed, and one puppy is no longer with them, but Poncho has weathered many storms. She has turned out to be a great friend to the family, like many dogs become. Aside from Poncho’s kindness and somewhat great behaviour, she has a few funny quirks. She likes to take shoes when Brent heads out of the house, and generally seems to lie with them in her place of comfort, of course the family couch. In this video you will see another of Poncho’s funny ways. She does not like to be watched eating. She is a pretty smart pooch and very aware of her surroundings so here she deals with her discomfort. In a Poncho sort of way….very smart.
