Woman Stuck In Traffic Jam Dances On Highway
Stuck in a traffic jam, this lovely lady dances the boring moments away instead of frowning and ranting about how annoying and frustrating it is to be in the midst of it. Life’s situations confront us in our everyday life. It is intriguing how the same situation will elicit different reactions – some may become mad, annoyed, frustrated, and agitated while others may take it easy. Still others may simply shrug their shoulders and let patience does its job. Talking about patience, each of us have a particular level of patience so that when a situation tests our patience, some may snap right away while others will go a miles journey before their patience runs out. Ah, how we are all created unique.
Staying on point, many of us are not spared with the hassles of the rush hours – daily traffic jams take a considerable portion of the day away, especially for those living in areas with high population density and hit by poor traffic management and adequate routes or roads to cater to the growing numbers of cars. Who is to blame? Is it the party on the throne for not providing enough transportation facilities or providing an efficient traffic management scheme? The rapid population growth or the increasing number of cars? Or the reckless drivers who cause blockages because of accidents they triggered?
Blame it to whatever factor you want to– it will not solve the problem - it will only end up with pointing a finger. “What should be done?” This is the right question to ask. Just like this woman in the video, instead of cursing someone or something, she made her time valuable by enjoying the “now” and she obviously doesn’t mind the situation. Enjoy the moment just like she does! Dancing to the tune of Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too” she doesn’t only ‘create’ happiness for herself but also for other people around her.
Added to that, she is actually shooting more than one bird with a single bullet. Sitting behind the wheel for a prolonged period of time may cause numbness, stupor, back pain and may even contribute to formation of blood clots. So, when Lisa decides to step out of her car and starts dancing her boredom away, she does something incredible for her health. Stretching occasionally to break long stay behind the wheel could be life-saving.
So, next time you find yourself in a traffic jam, remember Lisa and imagine her with all those smiles and dance moves. Surely, you will be inspired to make the moment count by doing something memorable or something worth cherishing. Not doing what Lisa did may invite several untoward incidents. Think about how many road rage incidents happen each day. Many of these are fueled by negative energies pumped to a higher level of anger and frustration that will eventually push a person to do the unimaginable on the spur of the moment.
The road we take is an option we make daily. This is both literal and metaphoric. In both literal and metaphoric sense, traffic jams are not uncommon. Will you choose to be carried away by anger or will you dance your frustrations away and have a merry day?
