However, what Einstein really wants is a cookie! We let Einstein eat cookies occasionally, but only a small parrot sized bite. It must not have any chocolate in it, as chocolate is toxic to parrots. Einstein pretends he is offered a cookie and holds it with his foot, taking it to his beak where he enjoys a bite. That "air cookie" must be really good!

When that happens they are sent to parrot rescue facilities to be adopted by a new family or some spend their lives in sanctuaries.
