Ever been head rammed by a calf right in the stomach? No? Keep watching! It'll MOOOOO-VE you to tears with laughter!

Have cows, they said. It'll be fun, they said. Calamity, the calf, at only 18 days old, still has her umbilical cord attached. She thoroughly enjoys her favorite pastime of rooting to find that "udderly" perfect position. There are no teats. No milking udders on the farm. No Holstein heifers. Just her human family to feed her. Which means that most of the time, we are at the booping end of that search for milk. Eleven year old, Maddie, had just fed her and she felt as though she did NOT get enough milk to satiate her big cow-y taste buds. If you've never experienced the pleasure of bottle feeding a baby calf, you've also missed out on the pain of having your girly bits mistaken for a heifer's milk machine. So lace up your boots, throw on your best western hat, and take a ride with us, to see what it's like bottle feeding a newborn calf.
