Being Confined To A Wheelchair Won't Stop This Man From Dancing With His Bride

A truly inspirational moment! A wheelchair-bound man is able to dance with his bride on their wedding day thanks to his friends and family. A video of a bride and groom's first dance is going viral, and although the clip is barely a minute long, it is sure to make you tear up by the 40-second mark when the groom’s dad and brother manage to help the groom stand up.

It begins with the attractive bride sitting on the lap of her husband, who uses a wheelchair. But when she gets up, three men approach, bringing along two chairs and a few black Velcro straps.They sit on either support of the groom, and as he puts his arms around their shoulders, the music crescendos. In one beautiful moment, all 3 stand up in unison. To the cheers of the gathering and thanks partly to straps connecting their legs, the man is able to stand up as his new wife approaches. They sway from forward and back, chests together, for their first dance.

Bride explain the moments on a post, "The hardest and yet most beautiful part of getting married for me was doing my first dance with Sam Smith who had lost his ability to walk since an accident 2 years ago that left him paralyzed from the waist down. On the day of our wedding though I was so afraid that I would become too overwhelmed by two key moments...walking down the aisle for Bride and Groom First Dance. Sam Smith father and his brother stepped in and filled that void without hesitation, walking him down the aisle and doing so beautifully. While I sobbed into his shoulder the entire time... stepping on his feet... I was able to make my own special memories with three every important male family members in my life”.

As if that were not emotional enough, guests at the Brazil wedding can be heard cheering loudly as the pair move together to the powerful ballad. The groom’s family contrives to give him the best wedding present he could wish for and his dance with the new bride has melted hearts across the world.
