Meet Britain's youngest teachers - the babies who are visiting primary school pupils and helping them learn about empathy. Once a fortnight, three babies who are all the children of teachers at Ardgowan Primary School in Greenock, Inverclyde, are brought into school to meet P3 pupils. The tiny tots, the oldest of which is only ten months old, ‘teach’ the schoolchildren, who are able to see the babies grow and develop, and learn about empathy, understanding and responsibility. The youngest baby is little Ada Roberston, aged three months, who’s mother Lana teaches P2 and is on maternity leave, along with the two other mums.
