Playful Pig Climbs On Top Of Man's Back

This is the video of a full grown pig climbing onto a hapless man’s back that you’ve been waiting for your whole life without realizing it—so we suggest that you waste no further time in checking this one out! Vivian, the 350 pound pig, obviously has a great deal of affection for her human companion. And what better way of showing that affection than with a physical display of love? We can completely understand the logic—particularly coming from a creature who very clearly doesn’t know just how much larger she is than the man she loves, and who probably wouldn’t flinch at all if their positions were reversed. “At what point do these people need to remind Vivian that she is 350 pounds and not a little girl anymore,” wonders the person (along with the rest of us) who shot and posted this video. He goes on to add, “Anyone know the number of a good chiropractor?!”

We’re guessing that if this human and porcine family decides to keep engaging in such loving tomfoolery, it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea for them to keep the number of a good chiropractor on speed dial. We also find ourselves hoping that they’ll keep recording their adorable hijinks on the farm—because despite the obvious “ouch!!!” factor, this is still one of the sweetest things we’ve seen in a very long time. It’s always heartening to see an example of how love can cross species, and exist despite differences in appearance and size—and how two creature who genuinely care for each other, no matter how little else they may have in common, can enjoy the simple pleasures of just being in each other’s company and loving each other purely while withholding all judgment.

What we’re saying is that this is a surprisingly feel good video, despite what we’re guessing is a not insignificant amount of discomfort Vivian’s human companion undoubtedly experience at the time it was recorded. And how many feel good videos starring pigs have we been given since the “Babe” franchise came to an end? Not nearly enough, is the clear answer, so this is one to bookmark and treasure for weeks and years to come. It kind of makes us want to go out and get our own 350 pound pig, although we’re not sure the dog and cat we already live with would ever forgive us for it…
