A Moving Documentary with an Important Message
"You're Not Alone" is a 30-minute film that follows four of Wisconsin's youth, who navigate the challenges of mental health daily. These young people have experienced assault, bullying, incarceration, and discrimination which made those challenges even greater; so great in fact, some contemplated suicide. Joining us to discuss this film and these young people have found their inner strength and their voices are one of the subjects, Alex Hart-Upendo, and his mom, Karee Upendo. A screening of "You're Not Alone" is happening August 10 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Gateway Technical College. Tickets are FREEand can be accessed via BuildaBowByAlex.com. There will also be free concessions popcorn, candy and snowcones, as well as free gifts for everyone!
