Liberty shoppers could win cash for spending

Liberty, Missouri, shoppers could win some extra cash if they choose to spend theirs in certain parts of the town. Through Sept. 27, the city is giving anyone who spends $100 on the east side of the Kansas Street bridge over Interstate 35 a chance to win $5,000. This "Bridging Liberty" giveaway began as a way to get shoppers to go to businesses on the other side of the bridge as it underwent construction.
