Wild suburban peacock gives rare display to driver
A city on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles, California, is blessed to have wild peacocks in it’s suburban neighborhood. These unusual and magnificent creatures have had a home here longer than most residents. The majestic birds have become accustomed to having people around them and are comfortable with people. Most residents of this city cherish the local peafowl and defend their right to be there. A few critics complain of the noise and mess they make, though, causing some conflict among neighbors. Most would agree that these are exquisite creatures and a sight to behold. The video shows a male cleaning his feathers. The ornate details of the long flowing feathers can be seen as he slowly lifts his tail. This city in L.A. is lucky to have such regal wildlife.
