A Social Media Page Virtually Bringing People Together

When local filmmaker and producer David Kaye began self-quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic, he thought he’d go crazy in isolation without some interaction. So, he started a public group Facebook page to educate, entertain and connect people to one another. As he says, it’s “essentially Facebook Public Access Television.” Little did he think within 48 hours it would already have 232 members – and it’s growing more and more every day! You can get in on the fun by joining the group WQVH, the Quarantine Variety Hour on Facebook! If you have a live stream idea you would like to do, message David Kaye on Facebook and he’ll work with you to see if it works, when to schedule it, and how to describe it to group members.
