A Campaign to Close the Digital Divide for Milwaukee Students
3 years ago
11
The coronavirus pandemic in addition to the country's current unrest have brought much needed attention to a pre-exisiting problem in Milwaukee: inequality. Many students will need access to internet to complete their studies in the coming months, but what happens when some students are left out due to lack of resources? The Digital Divide in Milwaukee Public Schools is a pressing issue that the Milwaukee PUblic Schools Foundation wants to eradicate. Their response is a new project called #ConnectMilwaukee. Joining us to discuss the campaign and how you can help is Wendell Wills, Executive Director of the MPS Foundation. Visit mpsfdn.com to learn more about this new initiative and to donate.
