Abandoned 1850's Rail Road Tunnel

Welcome to North Central! And Welcome to the North Bend Rail Trail where we are doing a little exploring at the Brandy Gap #2 tunnel. Also Know as the Flinderation tunnel. Built in the 1950's, the tunnel was constructed under a cemetery that dates back to the 1700's. Not looking at the cemetery today, but the tunnel is fair game! Just over 1000 feet long, it is located just outside Salem WV mile marker 32.2 east of Bristol on the rail trail. stick around, the adventure is about to begin!
