Robotics: MyoWare Muscle Sensor Walkthrough
What is this video series about? I'm building a robot gripper arm from scratch! Follow me on my journey as I make a breakthrough, hit a wall, and even check out what parts I'm using!
In one of my first un-narrated videos, I did a test run with my MyoWare muscle sensor that I hooked to a Feather board, isolator, and my arm. I was still a bit camera shy and the video didn't really have any instructions, explanations, etc.
This video shows what the sensor is capable of, one of the stumbling blocks I ran into, and how to set it up.

The MyoWare muscle sensor uses electromyography (EMG) placed on the skin surface to measure the electrical activity produced my muscle cells. By measuring the potential or voltage difference between the two electrodes it sends the output signal to the screen as a value or a graph (electromyogram).
Note: I purchased these products except the MyoWare sensor (Christmas gift). No sponsored or donated equipment or software has been provided in this video.
