Yellowstone Supervolcano Converted To A Power Plant For All Of Earth

The Supervolcano at Yellowstone National Park erupts about every 600,000 years. The last eruption was about 600,000 years ago.

Although, chances of it erupting in 2020 are one in 730,000.

The Yellowstone Supervolcano could still potentially erupt within our lifetimes, and it would cause a catastrophe the likes of which America is not prepared to survive. The United States would be devastated and the world could experience a mini-ice age with all of the smoke blocking sunshine. We are well aware of the potential for this disaster and dumbfounded.

Except for NASA has a plan that could not only prevent Apocalypse version #69, the Yellowstone Supervolcano, their plan could transform this apocalypse into a great energy asset for hooman beans.

Places like Iceland and Indonesia have converted volcanic activity underground into steam powered energy generation. That is exactly what NASA is postulating. We can do with the Yellowstone Supervolcano to generate electricity what they have done with their liquid hot magma. While at the same time, converting the Yellowstone Supervolcano into a geothermal power plant would prevent our impending doom.

To convert the Supervolcano into a super power plant would require potentially triggering an eruption because the idea is to drill into it.

NASA would tap the magma chamber to cool it down with high pressure water flow. The molten rock down there needs to be cooled to 35% so that it is too rocky to detonate.

To offset the risk of setting off the eruption, they would drill short distance next to the magma chamber about 6.2 miles beneath the Earth surface. Some of the deepest drilling we’ve ever done. The hydrothermal fluids would reduce the magma chamber by 70%.

Then NASA would simply add water under extremely high pressures to keep it cool and utilize the returning steam power for geothermal energy generation.

The overall energy exchange in this process would be enough to power the world of 2020 twice over.

The overall cost of drilling and establishing the steam power would be $3.5 billion, but this is next level control of planet type engineering for humans, we have the resources and the manpower, that’s it.

Unfortunately for us vulnerable to an eruption any day, this idea of how to address the threat of eruption is not for us. It would take maybe thousands of years to complete the project. If we drill, it would be for the people of the future.
