We had an exciting weekend so Skipper, the Border-Aussie, couldn't wait to make another video to tell you about it! We're still in Covid-19 quarantine in Fort Pierce and life still gets exciting for Skipper. Come see what she got into this weekend.

Apple Peanut Treats
These treats are not a crunchy one. I use them for training, as I can break them apart. A note about the ingredients* I use peanut powder. It is only peanuts and can be made into peanut butter easily(2:1 peanut powder to water). It is easier to make dog treats with and I don't have to find all natural, no sugar, salt and I don't have to worry about it containing xylitol. You can use coconut flour instead of the quinoa as well.
1 cup oats
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup quinoa flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1-3/4 cup applesauce(nothing added)
2 tbsp peanut powder
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp unfiltered honey(optional)

Preheat oven to moderately hot 400°F(205°C). Add all the dry ingredients to medium bowl and mix. In large bowl add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix well. Scoop out onto silicone mat or lightly greased parchment paper, with a 2 ounce scoop or teaspoon. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown. Makes 36.
