Memphis KOA | First Time KOA Camping

This is a short review of the KOA campground in the Memphis area. It is actually in Marion, Arkansas but is known as the “Memphis KOA” due to its close proximity to Memphis, Tennessee.

This was our very first time camping at a KOA Campground and initially my first impressions were not so great. As I thought about it a little more, I came to the conclusion that my expectations were a little too high. Although this campground is not what I would consider a “vacation destination”, it is a campground that offers the amenities and conveniences that KOA campgrounds are known for. It is very conveniently located right off the highway and offers: free wifi, cable tv, propane refills, a swimming pool, game room, café, playground, pull though sites with full hookups and more!

As it turns out, this campground suited our needs rather well, as we were on our way to Tennessee and just needed a stop-over for the night. We stayed at this KOA on the way to Tennessee and on our way back. If you are traveling with your RV and just looking for a good place to stop for the night or if you would like to see some of the sites in the Memphis area, we recommend this KOA.
