Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon is set for a March 5, 2021 release date and kids are going nuts for it.

Disney's movies are almost always popular and it looks like Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon isn't going to be any different.

There's already a lot of buzz, but now there's some exciting new details as members of the press were able to attend a screening of the Disney film's first 15 - 25 minutes!

Recall how the live action version of Mulan was simply horrible. (Objectively. No, really it was aweful.)

Also, here at Random Kings we have to ask if this is going to just be yet another in Disney's new line of Woke films where female protagonists are the equivalent of demigods and win the day with no real effort or character growth. (Disney films for the past 5 years or so seem to have female protagonists burdened with a "Mary Sue" complex.)

Don't get us wrong, a GOOD female protagonist, written well is totally fine and we encourage fiction with those types of characters.

But Disney's films appear to be more about spreading propaganda from their platform than telling stories that truly resonate (or matter).

Now! We've said what we want to say and won't continue our rant.

Let's hope Raya and the Last Dragon is a worthy film and that voice actress Kelly Marie Tran won't feel she's been used by Disney.
