The Snoqualmie Valley Railroad days is an event to promote the Train museum and historical society. It’s an annual event in late August. Although it isn’t widely advertised, it is a great event to attend. There are hourly train rides for free, Civil war soldiers, and a mini logging festival, live music of various types on multiple stages. There are vendors selling food, hippie clothes and various arts and crafts. Talking to the Civil war soldiers was like talking to an actual person living in that time period. They really research their subjects it was amazing to hear them talk about even the most mundane subjects. History professor and storyteller all in one. I’d met some of these guys before at the Civil war reenactment. I put out a video on that as well, link to it here.
