Magnetic Propelled Boat with Stepper Motor

This 6 inch diameter by 2 inches deep aluminum pan boat is powered by 4 x 1/2 inch diameter by 1/4 inch N42 neo magnets, a stepper motor, controller and Arduino Nano with an IR receiver.
In theory if you spun it up in a low friction environment and had a powerful enough magnet to stop it within about 180 degrees of rotation it would make quite a big amount of thrust for a short burst.
The idea in the second trial is to start the magnet turning again to stop the heavier side of the boat more quickly.
Stay tuned:)
