Info from Licensor: "This is an ocean phenomenon known as bioluminescence. It was caused by a red tide in our area, and the video was taken at 10 pm at night in the Langebaan lagoon area, close to my home. Bioluminescence is the production and emission of light by a living organism. It is a form of chemiluminescence. Bioluminescence occurs widely in marine vertebrates and invertebrates, as well as in some fungi, microorganisms including some bioluminescent bacteria."
