With more than 20 years of public relations and global communications experience, Tamara Colbert is the consummate authority in her field. Her media experience includes leading communications teams in more than 70 countries worldwide. Domestically, her work has involved many national communications efforts and events for non-profits to Fortune 100 businesses to Presidential candidates.
Tamara has a passion for America and its sacred founding. Launching Grassroots Gold was a logical next step in her activist journey and combines her affection for liberty activists, her communication background, and success leading grassroots campaigns and passing legislation. Together with her rabble-rousing liberty business partner, Paul Hodson, Grassroots Gold’s mission is to be the gold standard in activism, education, and training.
Colbert joined the Convention of States upon its founding as a grassroots organization, as the first COS director for the State of Texas. She also served the organization as the Director of Public Relations for six years, generating more than $10 million in earned media with an all-volunteer team of media liaison volunteers in 50 states. After bringing on a co-director for Texas, Paul Hodson, together with the help of more than 100,000 COS activists passed the COS resolution in 2017. Today, she is Director Emeritus, and proud that COS Texas has more than 200,000+ activists.
Her exploits include producing more than 50 documentary shorts, serving as a stringer journalist, co-hosting a radio show in 2012, and providing weekly “constitutional coffee” commentary for Houston’s ‘The Sam Malone Show’.
