This 7x38 stick features a leathery dark brown wrapper with an oily sheen, satin texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, firm even pack and large triple cap. First light reveals a great draw producing full bodied flavors of a deep creamy textured peppery earth with a smooth long finish. The first third mellows to a medium-full keeping the same basic profile with a burned caramel on the draw. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes dropping the sweetness in favor of a big smooth deep tobacco on the draw, the earth and pepper sticking around on the finish. Ending with a decent strength kick at 55 minutes it was right at my limit for power. No changes to the flavors.
