SIMPLE CHICKEN BIRYANI FOR BEGINNERS | CHICKEN BIRYANI RECIPE FOR BACHELORS BY D.DHABA
1 KG CHICKEN (LARGE PIECES WITH BONES
HEAT OIL ( 5-6 tbsp)
Sliced onion 5 medium
Fry those onions 10-12 mins on medium heat until get light brown
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Fry 2 mins on low heat
Put all chicken
Fry again for 2-3 min on high heat
Biriyani masala (ready made)(5 tbsp)
No salt required ( biriyani masala contains salt)
Add a splash of water
Fry for 3 mins on medium heat
Sliced tomato 4 medium
Fry until tomato get soft
Curd/yogurt 1 cup
Give a mix
Chopped coriander 1 cup
Cook for 2 min on low heat
Green chili (half slit) 6 nos.
Cover up and cook for 20 mins on low heat (STIR IN BETWEEN)
Dry up any excess water
Boil water 2.5 liters
4 cloves, 2 cinnamon, 4 cardamom
Shahjeera (caraway seeds) 1/2 tsp
Salt 2.5 tbsp
Basmati rice (soaked for 30 mins) 700 grams
Cook until almost done ( 90% )
Arrange half of the rice in a flat pan
Spread cooked chicken on the top
Layer the top with balance rice
Mint leaves 2 tbsp
Cover and cook 7-8 mins on low heat
Mix up the rice and chicken evenly
